All hunts with Timberline Outfitters include transportation once you arrive in Ely, guiding service, trophy care and packing out your animal. Lunches will be provided while we are out in the field. Hunters will be responsible for their own lodging and meals. Just ask us for a list of hotels, motels, and restaurants in Ely and we will assist you in making the accommodations of your choice. Hunt camp available for an additional fee.
All booked hunts are guided by devoted, knowledgeable guides from morning to night. We spend countless hours out in the field scouting and filming in order to give you the best chance at the caliber of animal you are looking for.

If you are NOT A RESIDENT of Nevada and want to hunt Mule Deer in Eastern Nevada, we have RESTRICTED NON-RESIDENT GUIDED HUNT APPLICATIONS, more commonly referred to as Guide Tags. This is a draw tag, but draw odds are greatly improved. You can apply for party tags, but each person must complete an application. Hunt dates run from early October to early November depending on the hunt unit. Total applicant fees are approximately $425.00, which includes tag fee, license fee and application fee. We receive these applications in February each year and the APPLICATION DEADLINE IS EARLY MARCH, draw results are available by the end of March. The application must be co-signed by the Masterguide, if you draw a tag you must hunt with the Guide Service. If you are interested, please contact us by February. We are located in Ely, NV. 245 miles north of Las Vegas, 180 miles southeast of Elko, 325 miles west of Reno and 245 miles from Salt Lake City, UT. Commercial flights are sometimes available into our local airport in Ely from Las Vegas.
We are Licensed, Insured and Permitted BLM & USFS to guide hunts in NDOW Region II for Mule Deer, Rocky Mountain Elk, Pronghorn Antelope and Statewide for Mtn. Lion. If you happen to be lucky enough to draw one of these highly coveted tags, give yourself the utmost chance of harvesting a trophy animal, while making your hunt easier and more enjoyable. Be prepared to hunt at elevations ranging from 7,000 to 10,000 feet, you have to get within range, to make the shot.
