Based out of Ely, NV, we specialize in harvesting trophy mule deer, elk, big horn sheep, mountain lion and antelope throughout eastern and southern Nevada which includes White Pine, Nye, Elko, Clark and Lincoln Counties.
From the initial meeting with you to making sure you make it back home safely, every aspect of your guided hunt will be catered with exceptional service from beginning to end.
Upon booking a hunt with Pine Peak Outfitters, you will be provided with sufficient information as to the area that you have drawn, what to bring and what to be prepared for.
Depending on the particular hunt, lodging may include either camping or a hotel. If camping, we will provide meals and lodging. At times, it may be recommended or desired to stay in a hotel, if so, we will provide lunch as well as snacks, drinks, and all transportation.
Each hunt will be accompanied by a friendly, licensed and experienced guide. Like myself, many of our Guides are native to Nevada. We take pride in our team and our guides are truly passionate about what they do. All Pine Peak guides are highly skilled in the respective unit that you will be hunting.
All of your transportation will be provided upon arrival. We are equipped with four-wheel drive vehicles, ATV’s and UTV’s for navigating road and trail systems. Once we have arrived to the area, we will use the “spot and stalk” tactic which is the best method for harvesting the highest quality trophy animal your unit has to offer. Some of the terrain that we hunt in can be steep, rocky and at times unforgiving, so please be prepared physically to the best of your ability before the hunt starts.

Antelope Pricing
Hunting the vast Nevada landscape offers a fun and exciting antelope hunt. Throughout an antelope hunt, we look at dozens of bucks daily that average 13-15 inches in search of that 76-82+ inch scoring buck. The habitat that these antelope live in varies from the low white sage valleys to the scattered juniper rolling hills and may require all hunting tactics and methods. Like all of our hunts, we begin scouting in July to locate the best quality bucks your unit produces that year. This is a hunt that is filled with endless action and good times.

Bighorn Sheep Pricing
Hunting sheep in the Nevada desert is one of the most unique hunting experiences in the west. We guide all three sheep species in Nevada which include Desert, California and Rocky Mountain Bighorn. Each sheep hunt is accompanied by at least two guides that specialize in the unit you have drawn. Booking your hunt as early as possible is best due to the logistics and scouting that is involved. Elk Pricing
Nevada continues to produce record book elk each year and our hunters are right in the mix of harvesting them with all weapon choices which include archery, muzzle loader and rifle. While each hunt is tailored to fit our client’s needs, being in the best physical shape will help increase your chances of harvesting a giant bull. Throughout your Nevada elk hunt, you could find yourself hunting the low rolling juniper country or navigating up a mahogany ridge in pursuit of your trophy bull. Mountain Lion Pricing
Hunting mountain lions as well as bears in Nevada are one the most fascinating and rewarding challenges you can experience . With all the elements and factors against you, the chase of these unpredictable animals is left to the unknown. Lion hunts are led by Pine Peak hounds-man Gene Akins who has over 15 years of experience hunting lions throughout Nevada. Mountain lion tags and hunting license can be purchased over the counter for both resident and non-resident hunters. Whether you’re wanting to get on a lion hunt in the near future or planning one for the following year, we can offer a customized hunt to fit your needs.

Mule Deer Pricing
Hunting mule deer in the rugged mountains of Nevada is an experience you’ll never forget. We scout thoroughly in the summer months to line out our best bucks for the season. In the past five years, our clients have harvested 13 true 200+ inch deer while maintaining a 80% success rate for all weapon choices which include archery, muzzle loader and rifle seasons. Nevada offers a rifle mule deer guide draw for non-resident hunters who seek to book a hunt upon drawing a tag.
The non-resident guide draw increases your chances of drawing a rifle mule deer tag as a non-resident of Nevada. The guide draw takes place in February and the lucky applicant winners are notified of the results by mid-March. Please contact us if interested.
